My life is greatly enhanced by these 3 little companions. I thought I’d do something different tonight and introduce my pets. They will likely appear in future posts, so you may as well get to know them.
Spanky – King of the House

Spanky is nearing 15 years old, and has been with me for a few years now. He’s getting to be a cranky old man, and likes to sit on my lap – or neck, if I’d let him. He came from Washington with me, and was not particularly happy to find out that I intended for him to share the house with other pets. He doesn’t put up with any shenanigans from the others.
Eliza Jane – Head Mouser

I actually brought Eliza Jane home from an estate sale. She had appeared at the pond one day, and the people who were buying the house had cats and did not want her. She’s a very polite cat with a soft meow and a sweet disposition…until she finds a mouse in the house! She’s very patient, and stalks them for days if necessary. She presented me with one just today.
Sammy – Life of the Party

Sammy’s owner passed away last year, and I saw him on Facebook. He gets along with cats, so it wasn’t a hard decision to take him in. Just look at that adorable face! He’s about 4 years old now, and is quite the lively little man. We walk on the trail when it’s not too hot. He likes to play fetch and can run very fast. He’s lots of fun, and is also a great little 9 pound watch dog!
Animals are such agreeable friends – they ask no questions; they pass no criticisms.

Now you will be able to put a cute little face to the names when I write about my companions on this crazy path I’m on.

Glad you have your furkids. They are such great company.
They are! They keep me more active than I’d be otherwise, and instead of just talking to myself, I talk to them.
Beautiful photos of the kids. And I believe, without ever having met them, that you have given each the proper designation.
They are easy to love…most of the time. Wish you could come and visit.
